La Esquina

Stand on the sidewalk and try to take pictures of in La Esquina in Soho, a trendy restaurant I will never visit again, and this polite gentleman will insist you are not allowed to do so without first signing a "press release form". It seems the spot's owners are concerned about either getting or being "sued" (it is unclear which). Nonetheless, that they have no legal authority to stop you photographing its exterior is a point lost on this man. He went about his job in such a workmanlike manner I could confidently recommend him for a job with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, the Government of North Korea or some other fascist anachronism.
