When I saw four Philadelphia firefighters in their boots and suspenders in the local Super Fresh buying three dozen eggs and several packages of Taylor Pork Roll, I couldn't wait to tell my brother, still a member of the volunteer fire company back home, and fellow fan of that Trenton breakfast meat. Imagine my delight then, on seeing parked out back, no less than a ladder truck. When he saw me taking pictures of it a firefighter got out, asked if I "liked fire trucks" and told me with a grin that the Fire Academy is now accepting applications online.
