Send My Remains to Broad Street
I grew up near a Delaware byway known as Possum Park Road. Whether it was called this because of the regular appearance of mangled possum corpses on the roadside, I do not know, but such dreadful carnage was just part of the landscape. The late possum (pictured) was however, no cuddly Delaware furball, but a tough, maybe even urbane, Society Hill possum, who was so cruely cut down on his way to a show on the Avenue of the Arts.
Or was he just a rat?

Weekends with Dad
Avery Fisher Hall
New York
June 2
Dad and I boarded the 6:20 train from Princeton Junction for an 8pm concert at Lincoln Center. Naturally, we were late and missed the St. Anthony Variations but made it to hear my sister sing with New York Choral Artists in Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem.

Philadelphians may have the shore, but Delawareans have the beach. The house pictured is part of a condo association. A condo association with a pool to run. Don't ever buy into a condo community that has a pool.
